Jane's Jam shortlisted for Eric Hoffer Grand Prize
A warm and very heartfelt thank you to the Eric Hoffer Award Committee for shortlisting my book, Jane's Jam: Inspiration To Create Your Super Awesome Life, for 2023 Eric Hoffer Grand Prize Award!
The Eric Hoffer Book Award honors the memory of the great American philosopher Eric Hoffer by highlighting salient writing, as well as the independent spirit of small publishers. Since its inception, the Hoffer Award has become one of the largest international book awards for small, academic, and independent presses receiving over 2,500 nominations yearly. I am fortunate to be shortlisted for the grand prize by a panel of nearly 200 judges who have provided a wonderful review of Jane's Jam.
"A refreshing spin on positive psychology,...Enright writes with clarity and a caring manner that inspires positive change for happy, healthy living. An enjoyable read, this book reframes the reputation of self-help books in a positive manner and elevates the self-help genre".
-Eric Hoffer Award Committee
Everyone needs a cheerleader in life. Like me, Eric Hoffer began writing his thoughts down after recovering from a brain injury. He wrote his first books with no formal literary training. I am thrilled, honoured, humbled, and grateful to be recognized among such an accomplished group of writers from all walks of life, cultures, and countries.
Moreover, a big thank you to all the readers, fellow authors, reviewers, bloggers, librarians, friends, family, booksellers, and my publisher She Writes Press who continue to cheer me on and encourage me to do my very best.
Looking forward to what comes next...and stay super awesome!
Warmly and with gratitude,
Jane
